Inspiring video about the Chakras, how realistic is it? The snake part is disturbing.

Just like in everything (Karma being a classic example), the west have successfully managed to get the message of Kundalini too distorted! I have no idea why the western philosophy needs fear associated with it and spread the message!


The Hindu scriptures where Kundalini is mentioned, says that this universal energy is sleeping at the base of the spine, coiled "like a snake". Through Yoga and Meditation, this energy awakes and slowly start to move up in levels untill it touches the crown of the head - that is one becomes enlightened (for Buddhists, that is when they become a Buddha).

For each level Kundalini rises, it has different effects. Till the third Chakra, we would feel the "Asuric" (Demonic) urges more and most people stops with the third Chakra, where life seems to be all fun, but lack spirituality. Beyond the 3rd Chakra, it gets even worse, since our temptations would take control of our efforts, and only through utmost devotion and concentration can one reach the 5th level. This is where the actual enlightenment starts to occur, and the journey beyond 5th level is smooth (not easy), since all the negative temptations would have been over come by then.

I think the snake symbol is misunderstood.

I didn't see any "snake", in the method that worked for me...
I've never seen snakes in any of my ultra-deep trances..
Except the backs of lady Medusa's head when I approached from behind.. whispering "don't look your majesty!".. Eyes closed I planted a lengthy tender warm kiss upon her majesty's lips whilst I gave her a friendly meaningful firm squeeze where she sits...

I doubt it's a good thing to be seeing snakes, unless snakes are your friends... But I don't know for-sure..?


What do snakes do..?

They slither..

They eat things alive, whole..

They can sting..

I saw a newsreel about a young Mexican boy who pets tarantulas and rattle snakes...

I heard about a fellow who talked to his snake, and got his snake to speak a few english words...

When I was 10, and my arms up on the stage watching the bearded lady, and the snake guy.. he somehow hypnotize me with his huge python, then I woke while he was placing the dern thing on my shoulders.. and the snake went and tasted my face with its long tickly tongue.. the guy said it was ok to pet it, as long as I didn't rub it against its scales... It liked me tickling its chin.. I was making friends with his snake, and the guy got jealous, and a little angry...


Umm.. I picked up a garder-snake once.. and it bit me...
...And the other garter snake I picked up, I flung at the neighbour, when he was bullying my little brother... the flying snake wrapping around his neck, how I threw it.. The bully "came totally undone"...


I woke my "kundalini" with a snakeless meditation.. of me holding an imaginary 12-gauge Damascus shotgun inside my cosmic Being, and firing upwards through my chakras..
On the 41st shot, I managed to open a path through all my chakras.. in came a wondrous light shower... I never saw any snakes...
Why snakes..?
